When an entire plantation is enclosed with a net, in addition to protection against hail, it also provides protection against some pests, so the better the plantation cover is, the more problems go away. Tight closure of the sides, using special hooks supporting the net, secures the plantation against birds. For growers whose main problem are birds, we offer a net fastening system using bungee ropes that prevent pests from getting inside the area. Furthermore, the use of an insect net on the sides of the plantation protect crops against insects such as Drosophilla suzukii, especially troublesome in the cultivation of cherries.
